Steps:
- Copy the template below
- Click on the link below it to find your senators and their contact info
- paste the text from the template
- Adjust the [ ] fields to your personal information
- Hit send. Easy!
THE TEMPLATE:
“Hello, my name is [your first name, last name]. I’m a constituent from [state], zip code [your zip code]. I’m a [mom] and a [physician]. I’m concerned about the lack of a senate vote on The Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021, H.R. 8 and the Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2021, H.R. 1446. I strongly encourage Senator [your senator’s name] to please support a vote and the passage of these two acts. Uvalde is the consequence of NOTHING changing after Sandy Hook. Buffalo was another. A nation that does not change to protect children and prevent any more massacres of innocent civilians is a failed nation. Thank you for your hard work.”
